And as a result, the AMPU crew finally post this late edition of A More Philly Union, in which they review the Union's two most recent league games, against Nashville and NYC. Paul, C, and E ponder the pressing and profound questions: Is there still life in the Joe Bendik Experiment? Has Carranza ascended to pure Philly-dom? How many Cup tournaments can be squeezed into one summer? And where does this all lead us?

Time and Space are put to the test this week as the Union travel to NYC to play soccer in the geometry of a baseball stadium and then return home to host Charlotte FC where Blake bends gravity to his will. Meanwhile, the AMPU crew experiences the closest thing to Time Dilation as it was May when they began recording this episode and it was June when they wrapped up. Special guest host, Nate, delivers a timely message on unbiased reporting, and Jason Kelce makes a brief appearance (sort of).
This little maneuver is going to cost us 56 minutes!

Maybe it was the over 5000 feet of elevation change between Colorado's Dick's Sporting Goods Park and Philadelphia's Subaru Park that contributed to the chaos and excitement of this week's games? Maybe it was poor time management skills that caused the late posting of this week's episode? Whatever it was, the gang dives into the melee that was the Rapids-Union game and extol the thankless job of the referee after witnessing the Union-DC United match. There's a deep MLS cut featuring Danny Cepero and Shep Messing, an all-too-expected Ted Lasso reference, as well as a surprise nod to Community. And like a good Law and Order episode, this week's episode runs just under an hour and features a special guest: Nate!
